Baxter Lake Recreation Area is a privately-owned campground located on the shores of Baxter Lake, a 302 acre water body located in scenic Rochester and Farmington, NH.  The lake is classified as a warm water fishery, with observed species including smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, chain pickerel, and bluegill. Baxter Lake is also a renowned destination for recreational water sports including, swimming, boating, tubing, jet skiing, canoeing, and kayaking.
