Welcome To Our Campground

Baxter Lake Recreation Area is a privately-owned campground located on the shores of Baxter Lake, a 302 acre water body located in scenic Rochester and Farmington, NH.  The lake is classified as a warm water fishery, with observed species including smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, chain pickerel, and bluegill. Baxter Lake is also a renowned destination for recreational water sports including, swimming, boating, tubing, jet skiing, canoeing, and kayaking.

New Boat Storage Racks

The area to the left of the swimming area is scheduled to be cleaned and brand new racks will be built for sale to store your boats. In order for the clean-up to go smoothly, we require that you remove your canoes, paddle boats and kayaks by May 31st. 

Please Note: If your boat is not removed by May 31st it will be considered abandoned and therefore removed.

Information on the new storage rack purchase process and associated cost will be provided soon. Stay tuned!
